In 1996, Agung Kurniawan and his wife, Yustina Neni, founded Kedai Kebun Forum, an art space, shop, and restaurant in Yogyakarta. Their vision was to provide a financially self-sustaining platform where artists could tackle taboo and sensitive issues.
