Shanghai’s Yuz Museum, itself illustrative of the city’s recent and much-touted arts expansion, looked back to an era that predates today’s flashy fairs, glossy arts districts and collector-run museums by way of Zhou Tiehai’s allegorical film Will/We Must (1996).
