South Korea’s Busan Biennale opened to the public one day after the official start of the rivaling Gwangju Biennale. Comprising three subsections taking place in two locations. “Project 1” and “Project 3”—a group exhibition and educational program, respectively—were held at the Busan Museum of Art, while “Project 2,” another survey show, took place at F1963, a refurbished wire-rope factory.
