Navin Rawanchaikul’s mid-career retrospective “Navin’s Sala” revealed the Indian-Thai artist to be a natural entertainer whose installation-art antics—incorporating hand-painted billboards, music videos, sculptures, prints, photos, airbrushed VW Beetles and other works—offered a three-ring circus of fun with a sizable dose of social commentary.
