London's Serpentine Gallery mounts a massive
survey of India's next wave before sending it on a European tour.
“‘Indian Highway’ is not a sprint, but a marathon,” proclaims Hans Ulrich Obrist, the Serpentine Gallery’s co-director of exhibitions and programs. An ambitious exhibition on Indian contemporary art now three years in the making, the blockbuster show is a collaboration between Oslo’s Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art and London’s Serpentine Gallery, where it opens in December.
