In her recent group exhibition “Post Object” at Doris McCarthy Gallery in Toronto, curator Deepali Dewan explored themes of globalized art and homelessness through the work of five international artists. While all five participants are affiliated with Asia, either by upbringing or heritage, they adopt a “post-national” aesthetic that resists geographic or political locality.
