Shanghai's Hi-tech Art Park Undergoes Museum Upgrade

Shanghai's latest art museum is bringing culture to the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, a technology focused development on the outskirts of Pudong. The Zhangjiang Contemporary Art Museum (Z-Art Center in English), which opened in December 2006, is funded by state-owned IT company Shanghai 863 Data Security Industry Park and includes a 30,000-square-meter sculpture garden and a small but striking museum space designed by Zhou Wei.
