Give And Take
Kicking off a frenzied summer, artists from Australia, Japan and India collected three of eight prizes at the 2007 Prix Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria. A major competition for new media and experimental art, disbursing a total of EUR 122,500, Ars Electronica honored Japan's Masahiro Miwa for Digital Music, Indian Ashok Sukumaran in Interactive Art and Australian group SymbioticA in the Hybrid Art category. An Award of Distinction in Interactive Art went to Australian duo Leon Cmielewski and Josephine Starrs.
