SAM Expansion Unveils Art Stars

Founded in 1933 as a museum of Asian art, the Seattle Art Museum has reopened its downtown galleries in a new building designed by Portland-based Brad Cloepfil and his Allied Works Architecture studio, doubling the exhibition space of the museum's 1991 Venturi, Scott Brown building.
