Donal Fitzpatrick's drawings and paintings on exhibition at Peter Rae Gallery take as their pretext a discarded photocopy he found in Dunedin on the east coast of New Zealand's South Island, where the artist lived for a while. Responding to both this location and the photocopy, which shows a black border around a corner of Gustave Courbet's painting of a giant wave (Seascape at Etretat, 1869)…
