Finnish Takes on Contemporary Art: Art 06 Pumps Asia

In January, Finland's periodic survey of international art, ARS, opened at Helsinki's Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma. Organized by the museum, the show, titled "Sense of the Real" shied away from grand pronouncements about the state of international contemporary art, instead incorporating a humanistic, multi-disciplinary view by bringing together 40 artists and collectives from 24 countries.
