Destiny Deacon distinguishes herself as at the forefront of Aboriginal artists who deal with racial issues in a manner that tugs at the heart of the contemporary vernacular of racial prejudice. Her retrospective at the MCA, Sydney, assembled two decades of work, ranging from the purposely unpolished photography for which she is best known, to short films and installations.
