A Bad Fair Day

Shanghai, Gwangju, Guangzhou, Yokohama and Taipei were accompanied by art fairs in Shanghai, Seoul and Taipei, with VIP-level coordination between those events in what amounted to a massive regional coming-out tour. Four years later, the art scenes in East Asia are both more confident in their own abilities to survive and less interdependent.
