At the heart of “Migrasophia – (Migration + Philosophy)” was Azeri artist Zeigam Azizov’s 1991 passport, which is stamped with the word “Denied.” This ready-made, entitled Passport (2000), was a springboard for the exhibition curated by London-based Sara Raza (the Western and Central Asia desk editor of AAP).
