"A Still Life is Going On," Kang Sun-Mee's first solo exhibit, was inspired by a move in studio locations. After throwing away her cumbersome landscape oil paintings, done in a decidedly Georgia O'Keefe manner, Kang looked for a way to make works that wouldn't take up space.
