LN Tallur

Indian artist LN Tallur lives and works in Koteswara, India, and in Daegu, South Korea. His sculptures and installations make witty references to art history and current collection practices, as well as to the stark contrast between rural traditions and increasingly hyperreal urban existences in India today. “Quintessential,” a solo exhibition at the Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Mumbai, in 2012, for which Tallur created six works based on artifacts held in the museum, highlighted Tallur’s interest in museology.
