Enchanting and dreamlike, Masahiko Kuwahara's recent softly brushed paintings- exhibited at Richard Heller Gallery in Santa Monica in early 2001 in the artist's first solo show in the United States - lyrically depart from his linear, flat works of the mid-1990s.
