Montien Boonma frequently spoke about Phra Bodhiyanthera (Luang Phor Cha Suphattho), the famous monk from Ubon Ratchathani. In his famous book Nam Lai Ning (Still Water Flows) Phra Bodhiyanthera discusses the separation of body and mind, and the acceptance of suffering, death and emptiness. These writings became both inspiration and hope for Montien Boonma.
