Turning to the everyday
Land/mind/body-scapes in Tokyo
I really liked Takashi Homma's photos. I got the feeling that he was showing us the everyday, just as it is in real life. There's nothing 'cute' about those kids in the pictures - distorted faces, underwear showing . . . But that is 'the everyday', and this kind of photo is far better than any in which people are just posing. I used to be one of those kids; the photos took me back.
