Anusapati, a sculptor working in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, creates personal narratives employing familiar Javanese forms. He received his training at FSR-ISI Yogyakarta (formally ASRI: Akademi Seni Rupa Indonesia) and currently lectures at this institute. A recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship, Anusapati studied at the School of Art and Design, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York, from 1988-90.
