Art in trouble with the law in Hong Kong

Many in the Hong Kong artworld harbour fears concerning the possible curtailment of artistic freedoms after the 1997 return of the latter-day British colony to Chinese rule. Those fears have only been exacerbated by two recent incidents in which works of art were removed from public display after falling foul of existing Hong Kong laws.
