Picturing paradise

Picturing Paradise: Colonial Photography of Samoa 1875 to 1925 is the catalogue of an exhibition of the same name organised by the Southeast Museum of Photography, Daytona Beach, Florida. Over the last two years the exhibition has travelled to the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum of Ethnology (Cologne), the Pitt Rivers Museum (Oxford), the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) and finally to the Nelson Memorial Library (Western Samoa).
