If the title of this exhibition, 'An Aspect of Korean Art in the 1990s', was ambiguous, then the curatorial approach was even more so. Billed as the first major exhibition of Korean art at the Tokyo National Museum of Art since 1968, this exhibition was part of an exchange program between that museum and the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Kwachon, on the outskirts of Seoul.
