Forever Blooming Golden Bauhinia, 1997, Hong Kong.

There was a popular story circulating in Hong Kong during the Japanese occupation of the city during the Second World War: on Hong Kong Island there is supposedly a rock that resembles a turtle, which, according to the story, moves towards Victoria Peak by one foot a year. When the rock reaches the peak, Hong Kong will sink into the ocean. Around 1997 I heard this story again.
