When did video art emerge in Korea? Was it during the 1960s when Nam June Paik began working with video in New York? No. It was on 1 January 1984 when Paik's work, Good Morning, Mr. Orwell, was broadcast live via satellite throughout Korea and Koreans finally became acquainted with video as a new art genre.
