Sometimes an artistic idea is born out of a gesture that can be as simple as a child's manipulation of objects or digging in the earth. However, there is something that artists don't have in common with children: artlessness. Like any adult, artists are not innocent—the games they play follow certain intentions and interests; they apply techniques and strategies to attain their goals.
