In October 2001 two exhibitions of work by Wenda Gu opened in Australia. Together, the discrete shows - 'Intersections & Translations' at the National Gallery of Australia (NGA) in Canberra, and 'From Ink Kingdom to Biological Millennium' at Sherman Galleries in Sydney - presented a kind of retrospective…
